Overview

Overview; Hike to the top of Bald Mountain on trails linking two Northern CT Land Trust properties, and Town of Somers and CT State Forest properties. Some sections are moderately steep with some uneven footing. This hike will be a leisurely pace and appropriate for children over 8. Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome. Sturdy footwear and water are required. Meet at the parking lot behind Somers Town Hall at 9:45, then carpool to the trailhead by 10 am. Hike will end around noon in time for optional post-hike social at a local pizza shop.
