Overview

Come join us on a journey through the 100 Mile Wilderness to stay at all three of AMC's beautiful remote Maine Lodges. On this three night excursion participants will enjoy winter at its best, skiing, snowshoeing, and enjoying winter in the comfort of our Lodges. We will start our Program meeting at the Winter Parking lot and the guides will then shuttle participants up to the start of the ski tour at Medawisla Lodge and Cabins where participants can explore the new facility, have a delicious meal and that evening to go over the schedule. From Medawisla the group will be shuttled by staff with Registered Maine Guides to West Branch Camps and then ski from there eight miles to Little Lyford Pond Camp. There will be time to explore around Little Lyford before dinner which will be served at 6pm. At 9:30am the next morning the group will follow their guides on the Lodge to Lodge Trail seven miles to Gorman Chairback. Upon arrival at Gorman Chairback, guests will be showed to their cabins and then have the opportunity to explore the local trails around camp before sitting down to a delicious and delightful dinner in the Lodge. The next morning after breakfast the group will ski the seven miles back to the winter parking lot. We should arrive at our cars by 3pm. Bring a towel and winter rated bedding for Little Lyford. Linens and towels are provided at Gorman Chairback and Medawisla. Bathing suit for sauna. BYOB for social time or dinner at Little Lyford Lodge. Beer and wine is available for purchase and consumption at Medawisla Lodge, and Gorman Chairback Lodge. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
