Overview

Celebrating the Worcester Chapters 100th anniversary, we will Canoe/Camp on the historic West Branch of the Penobscot River in Northern Maine. This includes 2 days on beautiful Lobster Lake with an optional day hike to a near by summit and a stop in the village of Chesuncook.. This is a flat water, introductory trip.There are no portages. We will paddle at an easy pace with time for exploring, fishing, photography and relaxing. The cost of this semi-guided trip is budgeted at $500. This includes first night accommodations in Greenville, ME, canoe rentals (2 person), all meals (excluding lunches and snacks), shuttle service and permits. Participants must be in good physical condition and are expected to play an active role during the trip; setting up the camp, cooking and kitchen duties, gathering wood and attending the fire, etc.

Adult: $500 member
