Looking for a way to get outdoors, reconnect to nature, and unplug for a while? We know that it can be hard living in NYC, with all of the obstacles between you and a place that's green and quiet. The Appalachian Mountain Club is here to help! Experiencing the outdoors is easy with AMC providing access to some of the best hiking, paddling, biking, camping, snow sports, and climbing in New York! We offer thousands of local activities, lodges less than an hour from NYC, guidebooks, and endless resources. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn and explore the outdoors, or you are a seasoned adventurer looking for like-minded people to connect with, the AMC has something for everyone! We will be giving a quick presentation about the AMC and the activities the New York-North Jersey Chapter offers. Bring your questions if you have them and we'll give you all of the information needed to get outdoors. You'll have a chance to meet and socialize with some experienced members of the club and ask them about what makes them passionate about the AMC and what got them involved. Light refreshments will be provided. Space is limited, so please register if you will be attending!
