Meet 9:45 at the Collins Corner parking lot for a 4+ mile hike. The 175 acre reserve is one of the 50 reserves that is protected by the Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust (DNRT). The property lies just south of the Copicut Reservoir between the Copicut and Shingle Island Rivers also border's the 14,000-acre "Southeastern Massachusetts Bioreserve". Required equipment: backpack, rain gear, hiking shoes, water, snacks, and lunch. It is hunting season so orange vests and orange hats are recommended. Heavy rain will cancel. Parking is limited so try to car pool.
From I-195, Exit 12 Dartmouth North on Faunce Corner Road to Old Fall River Road. West on Old Fall River Road for 2 miles to Collins Corner Road. North on Collins Corner Road less than 1 mile. Sign and Reserve parking are on left.
