Overview

Join us to learn or practice some winter hiking skills. If there is enough snow, we will be using snowshoes. Bring them along in any case to practice getting them on and carrying them when not using them. Plan on ice to practice using your traction footwear such as microspikes if there is not enough snow. A good time to work on layering for cold weather. Bradbury is a fun place to get the feel of climbing a mountain without the work of bigger mountains. Great for those new to winter hiking/snowshoeing. Lovely woods walk with far off views from the top Email leader for details and recommended gear. Please include information about your level of hiking or snowshoeing experience and gear you already have. If you have questions, feel free to call. There is an entrance fee to the park.
