Overview

This snowshoe hike will be on the Libby Hill trail system, with some bushwacking to explore along the edge of the beaver pond. The terrain is rolling and the total length of the hike is estimated at around three miles.

Jeanne Christie led her first trip - a two week canoe trip in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota - at the age of 17. She has hiked, backpacked and run various parts of the Appalachian Trail over the past 30 years and even spent a couple summers learning outdoor leadership skills in western Wyoming. Jeanne has been a leader with the Maine Chapter of AMC for over a decade.
