Enjoy late winter in the Maine Woods at AMC's newest destination in the Maine Wilderness Lodges network, Medawisla (the Abenaki word for loon). Winter guests have access to 30 miles of groomed ski trails around the lodge, complimentary use of snowshoes, drive-in access to Medawisla. On Thursday night, enjoy a hearty dinner and lodging at Medawisla. Friday, ski 14.2 km (8.8 mi) to West Branch Ponds Camp, a rustic, traditional Maine Sporting Camp, family owned and managed since 1910. Return to Medawisla on Saturday for another night's lodging before departing after breakfast on Sunday. Lodging in either bunkhouse or cabin at Medawisla, cabin at West Branch. Linens provided to cabin guests at Medawisla, including pillowcases, sheets, and towels (bunkhouse guests must provide their own linens). Linens provided to all guests at West Branch. Bring bathing suit to use sauna at Medawisla! Fresh, home-cooked breakfast, dinner, trail lunch, gear shuttle between locations included.

West Branch Pond Camps
From South Via Greenville:
• Take I-95 north to Exit 157 (old 39) at Newport, Route 7 north to Dexter, Route 23 north to
Guilford, then Route 15 North to Greenville.
• At the traffic light in the center of Greenville, proceed north on Lily Bay Road for 19 paved
miles to Kokadjo.
• In Kokadjo, you will cross the Roach River at the dam to First Roach Pond.
• Four Tenths of a mile after crossing the Roach River, bear left where the pavement ends.
• Proceed 1.6 miles and bear right at the sign for Medawisla Lodge.
Please note that access roads are not paved and are subject to washouts and potholes. Roads may not be passable by cars with low clearance. Please limit your speed to 25 mph, and yield to logging trucks. There is no fuel available once you leave the state highways.
