Annual Connecticut AT volunteer season kick-off "get together" and work party activity. All current and prospective CT AT volunteers, including maintainers, patrollers, corridor monitors, Bulls Bridge team, and other interested volunteers are very welcome. The day consists of a short organizational meeting, including the donuts and coffee we've all come to expect. Following the meeting, all are encouraged to hike with the trail Maintainers as they do a walk through and inventory of their AT sections; or join the Boundary monitors to assess the condition of the AT National Park Service lands. Then, at end of day, we'll all come back together to regale each other with stories of the days activity and BYO fellowship. Meet 9am at the Housatonic Valley Association (HVA) in Cornwall Bridge just south of the junction of Rts. 7 & 45. Bring water, lunch, work gloves and (optional) beverage/snack for the post-project wrap-up.
