Overview

Annual trip to Phoenix Shelter, Worcester Chapter's northern outpost. This shelter was funded by the Worcester Chapter Endowment in support of the Maine Wood Initiative. Provide some sweat equity, with a lot of fun and enjoyment mixed in. Includes trail work on the new Henderson Brook Trail and checking the status of the shelter. 1-mile backpack to Phoenix Shelter where we'll set up camp. Great for beginner backpackers. Never a dull moment! Opportunities to hike, kayak, trout fish and eat. Moose still seen every year! Carpooling to be arranged.
