Overview

This 100th Anniversary trip is a travel back in time! This hike is a long hike (9.8 miles) and has some strenuous sections. We will hike both of the Hancock peaks which are 4k footers. The pace will be slower (approximately 7 hours) as Doug Teschner tells us stories regarding how he and a group of Worcester Chapter members blazed the trail up the Hancock's back in the 60's! Doug is a long time contributor to AMC's journal, Appalachia. He was also the speaker at Worcester Chapters 2017 annual meeting. He has maintained his physical fitness by hiking many of the highest peaks around the world and maintaining a great sense of humor!
