Overview

7 th Annual Section Paddle of the NFCT Chamberlain Lake Bridge to Fort Kent Map # 12 & 13 Join us to complete another section of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail in the wilds of northern Maine. Ten days of paddling offer rapids, flat water river and big lake paddling. Canoe and camp along the path of Thoreau. We will take 10 days to paddle the 110 miles allowing time to hike, swim, explore and fish. North Maine Woods camping Fee $15. per day nonresidents, one time road use fee $12. Shuttle Fee $65. per person. Approximate total river cost $227. Extra cost might be camping, motel or meals in Fort Kent. Arrive Wednesday night for early morning shuttle to put in on Thursday. This trip is best for paddlers who have some wilderness tripping experience. Paddlers must have Class II and lake paddling experience.
