Overview

With five national parks in close proximity, Utah is America's national park capital. We will explore three of Utah Southeastern national parks: Arches, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef. The unique towering sandstone monoliths, red rock spires, deep canyons and sheer cliffs, and natural arches and bridges draw adventure seekers from afar. Some of the highlights include seeing the Delicate Arch in Arches National Park; the magnificent panorama views of Needles District in Canyonlands, the largest and least visited park in Utah; and the natural wonder of the Hickman Bridge, which spans 133 feet across a small stream bed in Capitol Reef National Park. Finally, at Goblin State Park, we see thousands of goblin-like rock formations with soft red sandstone and even softer siltstone that appear throughout this valley. We will hike each national park's most scenic trails, discover the geology and historic settlements of the region, view petroglyphs of early Native Americans, visit the parks' visitor centers, and explore the towns of Moab and Torrey. Come join us on an adventure to remember!
