Overview

Time to get on the water. This can be a fun, relaxing paddle or if you would like to practice rescue skills the tide will perfect. We will paddle Little Harbor, behind the Wentworth Hotel. Put in is at the parking lot of Rt 1A just north of the Seacoast Center at Odiorne. There is a fee for parking, very minimal. PFDs required. Boat length 14+ ft w/2 sealed hatches. Dress for the water, approx 55 degrees, not the air, Pack a lunch/snacks, water, sunscreen, hat, gloves, booties, croakie for your glasses. If you have it - paddle float and pump. Camera / binoculars. Bring the phone # of your emergency contact TIDEs: LOW TIDE 7:51 am, HIGH TIDE 2:09 pm 8.96ft Water Temps: 58 Degrees Lightening, heavy raining, high winds cancels the event.

A co-chair of the NH AMC Paddlers group. She brings more than a decade of paddling experience to the group. Initially self-taught and has taken some organized training (level I & II) and has a lot of practice on Casco Bay and Portsmouth NH. She is also an active skier and cyclist and brings those skills to sea kayaking … "It's all connected", she claims. She likes paddling with others that can challenge her. She has made many friends through the NHAMC Paddlers on the trips she leads.

A co-chair of the NH AMC Paddlers group. Co-leading our annual Knubble Bay training weekend in Georgetown Maine and a annual recreational paddle car camping weekend out of a Freeport Maine since 2010. It's allowed me to share my passion navigating the Casco Bay waters while introducing the experience to others. Training basics kayaking skills, rescues, group dynamics, Leave no trace, navigation and more. When not on the water we can be found manning a USFS trail head in the WMNF.
