Overview

Explore the magnificent tropical beauty of two remote, unspoiled Fijian islands, Kaduva and Ono. This small island group is easy to get to - just 50 minutes' flight from Fiji's Nadi International Airport - but in many ways it feels far from the modern world. Small villages dot a coastline of white sand beaches, turquoise lagoons and coral reefs. With no large towns, no big hotels, no noise, no stress, very few roads and a way of life largely unchanged from past generations, here you'll encounter authentic Pacific Island culture and environment. A team of experienced Fijian guides, all indigenous Kadavu Islanders, will travel with the group each day by kayak through the Great Astrolabe Barrier Reef to the best snorkeling sites and nicest beaches in the area, and introduce visitors to their culture, community and lifestyle. A motorboat will be in support throughout the trip, allowing people to do as much or as little sea kayaking as they like. Hikes into the jungle, a birder's paradise, will also be offered. Our accommodations will be in small, environmentally friendly resorts which offer authentic experiences of traditional Fijian culture, cuisine and lifestyle. We'll be served healthy meals made with locally-sourced ingredients. All breakfasts, lunches and dinners are included while on Kaduva and Ono islands. Optional activities such as deep sea fishing are also possible for additional cost.
