This one-week volunteer vacation is an opportunity to stay in a beautiful location and help preserve hiking trails in the White Mountains. Participants will stay at AMC's Camp Dodge, located on the east side of Mount Washington, with stunning views of the presidential mountains. The camp has co-ed bunkhouses as well as full bathhouse with hot showers. All meals will be provided by AMC staff. During the day Monday - Thursday, participants will work with trained AMC staff to complete trail work projects in the areas surrounding Camp Dodge. These projects may include clearing or building drainage ditches, brushing back vegetation, hardening trails with gravel, constructing bog bridges, or building rock staircases. After the work days and on the Friday open day, Camp Dodge offers many opportunities for both nearby recreation and relaxation. Registration will open in early 2024 for this program.
