Beginning at the AMC Cardigan Lodge, join us on this epic adventure as we summit Gilman, Rimrock, South Peak, Cardigan and Firescrew for a total of 8.8 miles and approx 3600 feet of elevation gain. From the lodge, we follow Woodland to Clark to Vistamont to summit Gilman 2684'. Taking Skyland, we summit Rimrock 2830'. On to the South Ridge Trail to summit South Peak 2864' and continue to the intersection of Clark and summit Cardigan 3155'. Descending onto Mowglis Trail, we summit Firescrew 3064', enjoy lunch and fantastic views. Heading down will bring us back to the Lodge. Our pace is 1.5 mph. We will enjoy the day and the company.
