This is the first of two hikes this summer where we tackle the Belknap Range We'll start with a car spot at Mount Major and then head over to the Alton Mtn Road trail head to start our hike with the goal of summiting Mt. Anna, Mt. Mack and Mt Klem. Then we'll head back to Rand, West Quarry and Straightback before taking the Belknap Range Trail back to Mt Major where we will descend after hiking 9.6 miles to pick up our cars that we spotted that morning. The views on this hike will be spectacular, including the view of Lake Winnipesaukee in the heart of the lakes region. This is a group hike; we'll start as a group, stay as a group and finish as a group with the slowest hiker setting our pace. Our average pace is around 1.5 mph. If you are looking for a great day of hiking with some good company, this is the hike for you! Previous hiking experience with this distance and elevation gain of @3k feet is required.
