Mount Monadnock State Park,
New Hampshire, Monadnock Region,
NH
Mount Monadnock is one of the most challenging mountains in southern NH, so why not do it at night? Avoiding the crowds and taking a trail that isn't super popular makes this hike so much more fun and rewarding, plus if we're lucky views of the stars and maybe a sunset before the longest day of the year?! This hike will be 4.4 miles round trip and 1600 feet of elevation gain. This is a moderate-difficult hike and will be done at around a 2.0-2.5 mph pace however we do set our pace to that of the slowest hiker. Headlamps will be required! We will start and finish the hike together as a group and will not be splitting up for any foreseen circumstances.
