Experience the excitement of whitewater kayaking in a fun, safe, and supportive environment with an outstanding, experienced group of paddlers. Practice wet exits and learn basic paddling skills on flat water, then we will run the lower Fife (class I-II) practicing these skills. On Sunday, we'll run the full Fife section of the Deerfield River. Students must be comfortable on and in the water and able to transport their own gear. Dates: Weds. May 15 (after work to pick up kayaks & gear) at our boathouse in Concord, Ma and May 18 & 19 (weekend) in Charlemont, Ma. We will camp at a local home and eat out at restaurant Saturday night. Tuition: $170/ $200 Member/Non-Members. Includes boat, paddle, PFD, etc. (-$40 with your own gear). Camping/meals (~$50) not included.
