Weekend excursion to the Catskills for 3 days of hiking! Join us on a 3 day/2 nights' hiking trip to the Catskills, NY. We will hike 3 to 5 of the Catskills 3500 mountains. The plan is for 3 hikes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (5 to 8 miles, under 2,000 feet elevation gain). These are easy and moderate hikes. We will stay in a local motel Friday and Saturday nights. The motel in Shandaken offers rooms with 2 double beds, accommodating 2 people per room. The cost for the weekend includes the two nights of lodging. All meals will be the responsibility of the participants (breakfast, trail lunch & dinner). There are 8 restaurants within 5 miles and a pub/restaurant on the premises. Participant cost will be based on double occupancy and 2 nights of lodging. Double occupancy for both Friday and Saturday night is $270 per person. Participant cost (including processing fees) is $281.88.
