Overview

Join us for a spectacular hike at a more leisurely pace. This is an out-and-back hike via the Wentworth trail. The hike is located near Center Sandwich. Our total distance will be 4.1 miles with elevation gains of 1758 feet. From the summit on a clear day expect spectacular views of the Sandwich range and Mount Kearsarge. The trail passes by a brook with several cascading sections. There are a few water crossings but they are easy to navigate. We will hike together as a group and keep our pace to the slowest hiker. After submitting your online registration, the leader will call you at the number you provide to complete your registration.

Annemarie Langhan is an active AMC leader for NH AMC. She is an AMC hike leader for the CT chapter and the Worcester Chapter. She also volunteers with the AMC as a program and information volunteer at the Highland Center, Pinkham Notch, and the White Mountain Huts. She has hiked over 32 of the NH 48 and is working on completing her NH 48 and 52 WAV list
