Overview

Hike 5 miles on the green trail at Brooksvale Park, Hamden, CT. Hikers must PRE-REGISTER WITH THE LEADER at [email protected]. Meet at 9:15 for a prompt 9:30 start. This woodland trail is fairly level, but can be muddy, so wear waterproof footwear. Poles are recommended, but not mandatory. No dogs. Bring water, snacks, personal medications and first-aid supplies, sunscreen, insect and tick repellent. Meet at the large parking lot opposite 395 Brooksvale Ave., Hamden. This lot is on the opposite side of the field from the small lot at the main entrance. (Groups are asked to NOT use the small lot.) Porta-potties are available. Please remember to pre-register by 6 p.m. the night before the hike.
