Overview

Join the Maine Chapter as we continue to celebrate National Trails Day - a day for local trail advocacy and support. We will be doing "Spring cleanup" trail work trip on Cutler Mountain, Hiram, ME. We will hike approximately 3.0-3.5 miles round trip while working along the way. NO experience necessary, volunteers will be trained "on the job" with approved AMC techniques. Type of work: easy maintenance, trimming vegetation, cleaning water bars, remove rocks and branches, refreshing cairns, etc. Maine Chapter will supply tools, but if you have your own, please bring your own. Please bring your own trail work gloves, water, and lunch/snacks. Please wear appropriate clothing (long pants/long sleeve shirt, boots, hat), sunscreen, bug spray, etc.
