This Show and Go hike is approximately 4 miles, 2 hours. through woodland trails and dirt road along the Mashpee River with river and marsh views. Generally easy terrain but with exposed roots and the start/finish has a short but steep incline. Hikers should have sturdy footwear and water. Poles if desired. Be prepared for ticks. Parking lot is small, please carpool if possible. Car poolers can meet and park at Mashpee Commons less than a mile away to drive to the parking lot from there. Please check the website for last minute cancellations, most often due to weather. There are two sets of hiking poles that can be borrowed for a test walk. Contact the hike leader BEFORE the hike if you would like to try them.

Park at Mashpee River Woodlands NORTH LOT on Quinnaquisset Ave. Head to Mashpee rotary next to Mashpee Commons. At the rotary take the exit for Rte 28 S towards Hyannis. In less than 1/2 mile take the first right at the sign for Cotuit. Woodlands North Parking lot is 1/10th mile on your right.
