Overview

Join us for an out and back hike to Cannon Mountain. This will be roughly 4.5 miles with an elevation gain of 2263 feet. While this is not a long hike, there is significant elevation gain in a short span and is considered difficult. We will be ascending Cannon from the Lafayette Campground and taking the Hi-Cannon Trail to the summit. There we can enjoy the cafe at the top as well as excellent views across to Lafayette, Lincoln, and Haystack. This hike will be at a slow to moderate pace.

Tracy has hiked since her teens. Hiking throughout the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and the mountains of the Northeast. Tracy is an SEM chapter Back Country Hike Leader and serves as SEM Hiking Co-Vice Chair.

Zoe is the current chair of the conservation committee for SEM. She is an associate leader with Adventure Travels and will lead a Utah National Parks hiking trip this September. In her spare time, she loves hiking, camping and taking photos
