Join us for a loop hike in beautiful Lynn Woods. We will begin our hike on the Blue Trail with an ascent to Fuller Hill with its' view of Boston and Walden Pond then hike onto Undercliff Path with its' beautiful outcroppings, have lunch at Steel Tower with its stunning view of Boston, then hike onto Stone Tower and continue down Boulder Path to Union Rock, Dungeon Rock and past Breeds Pond to complete our loop. The hike is approx. 6miles with an elevation gain of 750+ft. We will be hiking at an easy pace over rocks, roots and slab with numerous ups and downs to end our hike between 1:30 and 2:00PM, depending on the pace of the group. Dress in moisture wicking layers (no blue jeans or cotton) and wear appropriate hiking footwear with wool socks (no sneakers or sandals). In your day pack (no draw string back sacs) bring the required essentials: at least 2 liters of water, lunch and snacks, first aid and anti blister supplies, an extra pair of wool socks, rain/wind jacket (no umbrellas), sunscreen, insect repellent and/or net (no bug zappers) and hat. Hiking poles and gaiters highly recommended, if you have them. Sorry no dogs. Inclement weather and temps in 90's will cancel. Confirmed participants will be e-mailed Directions and Reminders prior to the hike. ***We do understand that unforeseen circumstances beyond your control may arise, which may force you to cancel, if confirmed. Please consider your wanting to participate, vs your being able to participate and your commitment to that participation before registering; and please don't be a No Show. If you need to cancel, please do so through your AMC account/dashboard so that your spot can be hopefully filled by the Volunteer Leader in a timely manner and please remember to mark your calendar, so you don't become a No Show. **The hike leaders reserve the right to adjust the route if conditions warrant it and can not guarantee the hike will be completed by any specific time.
