Let's get outdoors during the week and take advantage of the great hiking trails, all within a 15 minute drive to Westbrook Community Center (WCC). Come join fellow outdoor enthusiasts for a local hike followed by food trucks and socializing at the Bridge StreEAT Food Park at WCC! Hike participants should be comfortable hiking 2-3 miles on uneven terrain at a moderate pace. The hike line up: May 29th, Mountain Division Trail via Shaw Park - Gorham June 5th, Mill Brook Preserve - (Northern Section) - Westbrook June 12th, Fore River Sanctuary - Portland June 19th, East Windham Conservation Area - Windham June 26th, Lowell Preserve - Windham Each week's hike meetup location will be emailed to registered participants by Monday morning. Be sure to register for the particular date(s) you would like to attend. Carpooling from WCC is encouraged as many trailheads have limited parking. The Westbrook Wednesday hike will be canceled if the Bridge StreEAT Food Park event is canceled due to inclement weather OR if there are less than two participants registered. The hike leader reserves the right to change the planned hike location if conditions require.
