Join us as we hike to celebrate the life of long time AMC member and leader Don Kress, who died in late February. Don led many events for AMC, including ski trips, trips to the Catskills, and with Gery Monaco helped organize the annual Fall Hiking week in NH. We will meet at the Lake Skannatati parking area at 10:00 AM. This will be a figure eight hike, going through Times Sq. twice, which will give us, along with lunch, opportunities to share memories of Don. The plan is to take the LP through Times Sq, to the Lichen, go up the LIchen (lunch on top). then back to Times Sq on the RD, and out on the ASB. About 5.5 mi. 1000+ ft elev, moderately strenuous, 2C6 on the old scale. Please note that Covid-19 has persisted in our region from its onset, as the caseload ebbs and flows. In the interest of public health, please do not join this hike if symptomatic of Covid-19 or infected with it.
