Overview

Let's Explore around Chickatawbut Hill. This hike will be approximately 7 miles with 1,100 feet of elevation gain. We will hike every trail in this section, which we call "trail tracing". An information sheet will be emailed out several days in advance with the meeting location. Bring lunch/snacks and water. We will have some elevation, so bring hiking poles if you use them and wear sturdy hiking boots/trail runners. Always bring a rain coat or poncho just in case! "Weather" - thunderstorms or extreme winds will delay, cancel or shorten trips. We will not cancel because of rain.
