Join the AMC Narragansett 20s/30s (20-40 year olds) for a 2-3 mile hike through the West Greenwich desert. This hike has a nice viewpoint and an unusual landscape for Rhode Island. While this hike is on the shorter side in terms of distance, it will be more strenuous than dirt trail hiking due to the sand. Hiking boots are recommended. Hikers are encouraged to bring 2 liters of water, a snack, and sun protection. Limited to 9 hikers. No dogs allowed on this hike. This event is part of the AMC Spring Fling and participants are encouraged to join AMC at Goddard State Park (East Greenwich, RI) following this hike for lunch and games. Detailed directions will be provided to registrants, you must register here to participate. This event is weather pending, confirmation will be provided the day prior.
