Join us from 9 - 11 am to remove non-native garden plants from existing traditional landscaping beds at Sourland Conservancy Headquarters, 183 Hollow Road, Skillman, NJ 08558. We will be preparing the beds for the replanting of native plants to create pollinator habitat. No experience necessary; instruction will be provided. Bring water, snacks, work gloves, hand trowels and pruning shears if you have them. Shovels and work gloves will be provided if you do not. Wear hat, sunscreen, long pants and long-sleeve shirt; poison ivy, brambles and a resident garter snake are present. There is a rest room at the location. Steady rain cancels. Leader will send reminder and/or cancellation email the day before event.
