AMC's annual Corman weekend ends with a 4 mile, two hour hike that begins and ends at the Corman Center. Our route will include the SBM and Long path trails, the Big Hill shelter and possibly the Jackie Jones fire tower. This hike is at a moderate pace and is open to all AMC members, whether you participated in the AMC Corman weekend or not. Proper hiking footwear is required and poles are highly recommended. For people who overnighted at Corman without a car, there may be a limited number of seats available afterwards to the Hudson Line Metro North Peekskill station, by prior arrangement via hike leader. Advance registration required for this hike, Please note that Covid-19 has persisted in our region from its onset, as the caseload ebbs and flows. In the interest of public health, please do not join this hike if symptomatic of Covid-19 or infected with it.
