Overview

Sea Kayaking Paddle : This weekend will be to get out and paddle. It will be a great time to fine tune our skills and learn some new ones. We may cover: Wet Exits, re-entry, gear, day trip planning, navigation, safety, Group dynamics, paddle with a buddy, Padding strokes, boats types. Who should attend: Paddlers that need a refresher and what to enjoy the maine coast. Sleeping arrangements: Coed, bring sleeping bag, pillow, extra blanket. Included: Meals: two breakfasts, one dinner. Bring your own lunch food and water and a dry bag to put it in while on the water, or small soft sided cooler that will fit in your hatch. Feel free to bring other items to share. All attendees are required to provide their own/rented/borrowed equipment as follows: Wet/Dry Suit, Sea Kayak (14 1/2 ft min) with bulkheads/flotation, PFD with whistle attached, paddle, hand held compass, paddle float and bilge pump, water/windresistant jacket, Sun Hat, sunscreen, water shoes/booties. More details will be sent to attendees.

Adult: $100 member / $125 non-member
*two nights lodging, two breakfasts, one dinner, Paddling and training as needed, good company and a beautiful location
