Overview

Help us clean up the Black Creek in the Town of Lloyd, just east of New Paltz, NY. This is typically light work, taking only a couple of hours. There will be an after-work pleasure paddle for those interested. Bring work gloves, loppers, saws, ropes, lunch & water. (If you need tools, contact leader for loaners.) Trash bags supplied. Leader will try to get donations of snacks and juices. Bring your canoe or kayak, & gear. PFDs required. (Leader may be able to supply a canoe, paddles & PFDs if needed. Contact leader.) Meet at 10 AM in the parking area at the Black Creek Bridge on Rt. 299 between the NYS Thruway & Rt. 9W. This is across from Motel 299. There's a sign indicating the launch for the Black Creek. Please confirm participation by contacting leader.
