Waterville Valley, NH,
New Hampshire, White Mountains,
Please join Anne, Carl and Dutch (Carl's dog) on a spectacular day as we slide over the peaks of Mt. Tripyramid. We'll head up the north slide; hike across the ridge and down the south slide. The north slide rises 1,250 Ft in, approximately, 0.5 miles and is described as having steep, rocky slabs. The south slide descends, approximately, 800 Ft in 0.5 miles as is described as steep with loose gravel footing. This is a challenging hike, so, please be in good physical condition. The total distance will be just over 11 miles with 3,000 Ft of elevation gain/loss. Recent participation on hikes of similar distance and elevation gain is a pre-requisite.
