Overview

Join us on a hike up the most northerly 4K peak in the White Mountains. This 9.6 mile hike covers some steep terrain and can be a fun challenge in the winter. We will be climbing 2,400 feet, but will mostly be in the trees. You must be in good shape, own appropriate winter gear and have winter hiking experience to participate in this hike. We plan to hike at an average pace (1.5-2.0MPH). This hike can be combined with Saturday's Waumbek hike.

I've been hiking in the White Mountains for the past 25 years with my family and the AMC. I have hiked all of the 48 four thousand foot peaks in New Hampshire and have also section hiked the Long Trail in Vermont. I enjoy traveling to more remote area and introducing people to the joys of spending time in the outdoors.
