Come out to Medawilsa Lodge and experience a winter wonderland in Maine's 100 Mile Wilderness. AMC Registered Maine Guides will take you around Medawisla exploring new ski trails and snowshoeing up nearby mountains. Come out and see spectacular views of Baxter State Park and experience wonderful wildlife tracking opportunities throughout the weekend. We will meet our program participants at Medawisla Lodge and Cabins where there will be time to explore the new facility, have a delicious meal, and go over the weekend schedule. The next morning we will have breakfast at 8am before heading out to ski and snowshoe on the trails around the Lodge. The Guides will teach you some tips and tricks to improve your XC skiing and want to help make all participants feel confident they can get outside on even the coldest winter day. With time to relax and sauna before dinner at 6pm, this will be a fun and full day of winter adventure. The next morning after breakfast will be a short guided snowshoe looking for signs of animals and enjoying the views from the frozen 2nd Roach Pond.
