Enjoy a winter hike/snowshoe to the summit of Mt Wachusett. This is a good hike to try out different types of winter traction so we'll need microspikes or hillsounds and snowshoes. We'll also spend time going over layering for thermal management. But it's not all work as this is a pretty hike with nice views from the top. This is a moderate hike with some elevation and some short somewhat steep sections. Proper Track 1 winter gear required. We will hike about 4 miles at a slow to moderate pace (1-2 MPH). Preference goes to those who attended the Winter Hiking Workshop on November 4th.
