Overview

Ice climbing trip in Keene Valley and environs. Open to experienced ice climbers with appropriate equipment. The plan is to do multi-pitch climbs, so interested participants should arrange for and register with climbing partners. A group top-rope climb will be arranged on the last day if participants are interested. Price includes two nights lodging at an in-town inn. Shared showers and facilities. Meals will be pay-as-you-go at the inn or other area restaurants. Contact leaders for additional information.

Past co-chair of AMC CT Climbing/Mountaineering Committee. Has been climbing for 11 years - trad, sport, gym, ice. Graduate of AMGA Single Pitch Instructor Course and Certified Wall Instructor. In addition to CT, has climbed in NH (Whitehorse, Cathedral, Rumney), NY (Gunks), WV (Seneca Rocks), Red Rocks, Moab. Internationally: Chamonix, Dolomites, Les Calanques de Marseille, Lofoten Islands and Tromsø (Norway) and Squamish (British Columbia).
