Overview

Meet at 10:00 in Uxbridge, behind the Stanley Woolen Mill building off of Route 16. (NOT at the Visitor's Center on Oak Street) After a pleasant, level walk along the Blackstone Canal, we will walk up the street, and continue across the field at Rice City Pond. Following the King Phillip Trail, we will reach Lookout Rock with views over the Blackstone River. Returning to the Stone Arch Bridge, we have an option to take a loop hike over Goat Hill before returning to our cars. The DCR Visitor Center should also be open, with exhibits focusing on the history of the area.

Driving Directions


Parking lot is located behind Brick Mill Marketplace (old Stanley Woolen Mills). Take Cross Street off of Route 16. Driving west on Route 16 this will be on your Right, just before Uxbridge center. Driving from Route 122, take Route 16 East in Uxbridge center. Cross Street will be on the left in approx. 1/2 mile. For Google or Apple maps, use Brick Mill Marketplace as the goal.
