Overview

This is one of our most popular weekends. If you have been mostly exploring flatwater in your kayak but want to try something a bit more challenging, join us for a weekend of ocean paddling where you'll get some exposure to tidal currents, waves, and open water along the Maine coast, all with the support of experienced and friendly sea kayakers. We'll spend a little time discussing traveling safely on the water, and will offer paddling feedback to those who are interested. Saturday afternoon will include an optional rescue practice session and gear talk. We'll cover roughly 7-9 miles on Saturday and 5-6 miles on Sunday. Two breakfasts and Saturday dinner provided. Two nights lodging at Knubble Bay Camp. Kayaks and other equipment can be rented and delivered from Seaspray Kayaking (207-443-3646 or email: info@seaspraykayaking.com).
