Overview

Come join us for a Multi-Chapter/Multi-Committee weekend in the sun while learning paddling & camping techniques. We will be having a lot of camping fun, and lots of paddling time! Overnight camping & outdoor cooking at it's best with S'More's galore at an evening campfire. Participate in a local hike, or maybe a night hike and star gazing. You get to camp in your own tent at our group site with water views, and share in communal meal prep and camp chores throughout the weekend with like minded families. Learn paddling techniques with trained AMC Paddling Leaders; camping & hiking skills with trained Family Program Leaders. Recommended for children ages 8+ for independent paddling, but younger kids are welcome to attend. No paddling experience necessary. Watercraft rentals are available, or bring your own! Fee: $40/Adults, $30/Kids. Includes campsite & meals. Watercraft fee/rental separate and NOT included/covered by trip fee.
