Overview

On this family walk, we will see birds and we explore the beautiful forests near the Sudbury River along with nearby farm fields that are part of this mis-named conservation land. This walk is suitable for four years old and older. The walk cancels for rain or ice on trails. Please dress appropriately with warm hat and gloves and water and snacks as appropriate to your kids (and your) needs. The walk is show and go. No registration necessary. Driving Directions


The parking area for Mt. Misery is 0.6 miles West of the intersection of Routes 117 and 126, on Route 117 in Lincoln, MA. The parking lot is on the North side of 117.

Chris has an environmental studies degree from the University of Wisconsin. He leads Outdoorsrx trips for families in the Western suburbs of Boston. He also leads nature awareness trips, called Appreciating Nature. In 2014, Chris offered trained volunteer and crew naturalists in how to run nature awareness programs for families. He loves to hike and bike.
