This is your opportunity to learn from a Rock StairMaster, how to construct structures that reduce tread-way erosion on steep sections of the trail and meet the test of time. No prior experience required to participate, just a willingness to pitch in and help build stairs from the rock we collect on-site. This is a great way to leave a lasting mark on the Appalachian Trail, one that all hikers appreciate. Tools provided. Bring your usual hiking gear, work gloves, lunch and plenty of water.
