610 Hill St., Hamden, Ct,
Connecticut, West of River,

Registration is not required for this activity. However, you may wish to contact the leader(s) if you have any questions.

Meet at 9:00 a.m. to head out at 9:15 a.m. from the parking lot at 610 Hill St., Hamden. This trail work event will focus on improving muddy areas of trail near Farm Brook Reservoir. We will probably also do some pruning along the trails. Be sure to wear work gloves, boots and clothing appropriate to the weather. Bring water and a snack. If you have any of these items, please bring them: pick mattock, shovel, wheelbarrow or hand truck, plus pruning loppers and/or a pruning saw, bring those. If not, come anyway because we can share tools. If you can only come for an hour, we can put you to work. If you arrive later, meet us on the trail: walk through the field and into the woods. We will be along the Red-White Trail and perhaps the Red Trail by the pond if time allows. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. If you cannot make it, no RSVP is necessary.
