Overview

This family-friendly hike will take us on a 2-mile leisurely walk through open land and forest, much of the route in view of Eames Pond. We will make stops to enjoy the many historic and cultural sites along the trail, including a restored sawmill that sits near the falls of Turkey Hill Brook. The hike has minimal elevation gain. Expect to be on the trail for a couple of hours. Warm footwear with good tread is required. We may need traction (microspikes) if trail is icy. This hike is part of the "Like Local, Hike Central" series that features hikes from the newly published AMC guide, 50 Hikes in Central MA.
