Overview

Join us for a challenging and adventurous weekend peakbagging the New Hampshire Hundred Highest. Planned peaks include a trip via trail and herdpath to Mt. Nancy (3,927ft), a bushwack to Vose Spur (3774ft), and a visit to the Northeast Cannon Ball (3769ft). Leaders will arrange the order of the trips or substitute trips according to conditions. Participants should be fit and experienced winter hikers prepared to assist with trailbreaking as needed on trails and when bushwacking off-trail, for routes of 10+ miles. Full winter gear, including crampons, snowshoes, and Microspikes required. In between our hiking adventures, we'll relax at the White Mountains Hostel in Conway (6-bunk block held for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights until January 6th at cost of $36 per bunk per night or $111 after tax for all three nights.)

I love to hike and backpack, and lead all kinds of trips from beginner, to extra-long day hikes like a single day presi traverse, to multi-day backpacks and bushwhacks. I even lead trips overseas for the Adventure travel committee. It's all good! I've hiked the 100 Highest peaks in NE, the NH 4000 footers in winter, and hope to someday hike a long trail like the PCT or the AT.
