Registration is required for this activity.

Overview

Be outdoors and learn the basics in sea kayaking - this weekend is for new kayakers. Included: 2 breakfasts, dinner Saturday night, lodging at Knubble Bay Camp and instruction. Required equipment: either rent a boat or bring our own. Boat must be 14.5 ft with 2 sealed hatches, wet or dry suit, spray jacket, water booties, pfd(must be worn while on the water). Lunches on your own. Join us and enjoy the sights of the Maine coast and the Squamscot River/Beal Island/Hockomock Bay. Make new friends and Have FUN.. Need a boat - Rental equipment can be arranged. Cost $125.00 pp.

Experience sea kayaker - paddling mostly on the Maine and NH coasts. Which means I love the salt water. Years of training beginners in basics kayaking skills, wet exits, group dynamics, Leave no trace and more. Leader of the Knubble Bay training weekend and other day and weekend trips. Avid skier and ski instructor which carries over to training sea kayakers. Looks forward to another successful weekend at Knubble Bay camp.
