Overview

Join this easy walk on Ayer's Pine Meadow Conservation Land. The trails pass along ponds and through woods. We will take time to look and listen. Trail has uneven surfaces including roots and some blow downs and is not suitable for strollers. The hike is family friendly and invites anyone who would like to explore this area at a relaxed pace. No pets. Please come prepared for mud, snow, and ice on the trail. Wear sturdy shoes/boots and warm socks that may get wet and dirty. Dress in layers including warm hat and gloves. Bring water and snack. Please indicate your interest by contacting the leader. Heavy rain or severe weather cancels

Driving Directions


From Route 2 take Ext 38B 110 West/111 North Ayer/Groton. Follow the road to the Ayer Rotary and take the third exit onto 2A West. 1/2 mile turn right on Groton Harvard Road. Road crosses RR and straight through stop sign. Then through a neighborhood. As the road heads uphill, look for a pull off parking area on the left. Trail is on the right.
